Not to be outdone by this week's CSI announcements, Sam & Max are elbowing their way back into the news with the official word that Season Two is a reality, and it'll be coming to GameTap and Telltale's website this fall. To celebrate the announcement, here's a brand new render featuring a character and environment you've never seen before. One big difference this time around is that the episodes will be available from Telltale's site just one day after their exclusive launch on GameTap, instead of 15 days. For more details and quotes from important people, read the press release. In other news, Comic-Con starts tomorrow, and we'll be covering the show with frantic blog postings throughout the weekend. We'll also be releasing some more Season Two stuff and adding new Sam & Max merch to the store. Come back with your wallet! (Also, for anyone who's wondering, History of Sam & Max part four is on its way. Jake's already in San Diego and he ran into some problems posting it remotely, but those should get straightened out later today.)

	Stinky's is interesting. It's got representations for a lot of the major restaurant themes. The waitress has a nautical theme, the wallpaper and furniture have a 50's retro look, the two headed buddha and dragon evoke a chinese restaurant and there's even a viking helmet thrown in!

That's completly acceptable and not mindable at all. And yeah, that shoot looks pretty cool, and monkey island stylish, but the green hair(among other things) makes her look right at home beside sam & max.

	(1st message lost to power outage) Huzzah, Stinky’s Diner!!! :D I’ll go ahead and assume the reason Stinky’s made it into Season Two was because we asked for it, skillfully avoiding the fact the exterior was already in Season One. The graphics look more detailed somehow. Is it just the lighting making it look more sophisticated, or was the engine enhanced in someway? To be honest, I was hoping Stinky’s would be more, um, what’s the word… Seedy? Rundown? Grimy? I can understand the desire to make the enviroment pleasant and appealing, but it seems a little too… clean… for Sam & Max. Don’t get me wrong here, I like the diner a lot, but I always envisioned it to be more… Ghetto, more retro. How about some torn wallpaper, some stitches and patches in the seats, stains, ect? Or how about having a fly buzz around the fixture? Orrrrr, have a cockroach walk across the floor or something. I like the lighting effects a lot too, but it seems a little bright. Maybe dim the lighting and instead have more of it coming from the fixtures? That could make for interesting shadows. :) Hmmm… It’s probably a stretch, but how about opening the blinds half way and letting light come in… How do I say it… You know how light looks when it enters a dim and dusty room, where you can see the rays of light come in? That would give it a lot of character. Ohhhh, I know, how about some little spotlights up on the ceiling shining down on those things on the ledge? If there is some way to have a light mist where the lights are so the light scatters a bit that would look really nice, and make the diner seem a lot… um… Shadier? :p And I’m really going out on a limb here, but, if the blinds are half up, maybe it would be possible to have cars drive by occasionally? That would be fantastic. :) I hope no one takes what I’m saying the wrong way. The diner looks great. I’m just trying to help and give creative ideas.

Er... Yeah, we did give you guys/girls a pretty hard time with trying to pry secrets out of you. I hope Dave or somebody doesn't get upset with any of that, though. Apparently not, but, well, I just would rather nobody got in trouble for saying anything.

	I am also very happy and looking forward to a new round that is supposed to bring more to the two funny talking animals. I would suggest with each season the 3D Graphics quality under goes improvement cycle. Not that it's not cool, but I'm sure with time you can do a lot more to it. Also, What will happens to the Boneville fans :). They've been on hold since S&M Season 1 started.

	My God... YES! Awesome, you guys. I, by the way, want to second the widescreen support. It looks acceptable stretched to 16:10, but true 16:10 support would be amazing. Gameplay-wise, I hope that Season 2 dares to venture beyond the "Here's three things you have to do in these three locations to these three people" format. The games were still fun, but it could have been a bit more varied than that. Also, I'd suggest you keep the anarchic, surreal feel of Episodes five and six. Those last two episodes were amazing. Original, hilarious, bizarre.. Perfect. Please keep this up in Season 2!

	Great neas that we get rid of the two to four weeks delay. One day is much better than that but honestly why is it still delayed and not coming out simultaniously? Is it still a money favour thing for gametap or due to organizational reasons? Wow the colours are really awful in this one for a restaurant. I wouldn't feel comfortable eating anything there but beside of the colours nice apron she wears. Looking forward to it...
