I know at this point you guys are all obsessively reloading the Season Two webpage every five minutes to see when new stuff goes up so this is effectively superfluous, but just for the record...

Some new Season Two media went out today from episode 201: Ice Station Santa, including six new screenshots (viewable here) of Sam & Max tromping around the arctic, and a new gameplay video (just over on the right, there) wherein the Freelance Police harass a former president.

We've also announced the pricing of Season Two episodes, which, again, should come as no surprise to most of you: Individual episodes will run you $8.95, or you can order the whole five-episode season at any time for just $34.95. (Also, if you buy one episode and then realize you want the whole thing, just like last time you'll be able to upgrade to the full season for the difference of just $26). And, of course, anyone who buys the season will be entitled to receive a free copy of the games -- plus heaps of special features -- on a DVD at the end of the run (you've still gotta pay the shipping, though). 	Posted too soon. Now, I've looked at the screenshots. So amazing! And I was right in my previous speculation about the concept art man being Santa! :D And, yaaay! Soda Poppers in Snow! (Err, let's keep Whizzer away, actually..)

	Yeah, I know....but the hates becoming unbearable. Plus Sam and Max don't torture them enough. I want to see them in some serious pain! Lock them up in Flint's office!

	Just as long as they introduce new characters (other than Bosco, Sybill and the Soda Poppers) then I don't mind seeing the old ones too. Only 5 episodes? That will be a quick season. But I can't wait.

	Will there be machinima shorts this season? Nope. Only 5 episodes? That will be a quick season. But I can't wait. It might seem like it now, but by the time episode 5 rolled around last season everyone was ready for a break (well, I don't know about everyone, but I know I was!) The five episodes make for a nice story arc and they'll be a little beefier than some of last season's were, so overall the gameplay should come out about the same.

	Yeah, I thought about it, and yeah, I really am happy. The machinimas weren't THAT brilliant. They were a bit, but further improved five episodes are much better. I will look forward to this. It's gonna be better than season one! I'm sure of it! :D

	The machinima shorts nearly killed me last year. I hope that the time not spent on those is instead spent making the episodes themselves cooler, and also allows more time for people to spend on the disc at the end of the season.

	I hope we have time to do some "extra" stuff during the course of the season, because Sam & Max shorts in general are an awesome idea... but we'll see.

	I think Stinky's BGM is going to end up being my new favorite BGM. I can't wait to hear it, as well as maybe buy the Season 2 Soundtrack (HINT HINT).

	Only thing that bugs me is that I paid 34.95 last season for 6 episodes, but now the SAME thing for only 5? What is up with that :( that seems very wrong.

	i may be a little sick of the soda poppers but bosco never gets old! but if i do have one gripe i hope changes in the new season, it would be that i hope jimmy starts to have bigger parts, but if not, whatever it'll still be awesome.

	I just caught sight of these new screen shots! I saw the one with the guy who looks like a gnome sized Santa holding a machine gun and looking really pissed off. And is that white powerdery stuff cocaine or something?

	Bosco is a classic character and Jimmy is pretty hilarious too, which more than makes up for the Soda Poppers. Btw, I like Telltale's idea to rebrand Santa Claus for an increasingly desensitized youth. Hope the action figures include the detatchable machine gun and optional exploding elves.

	I loved that movie were you talk to the bug it was awsome i almost forgot his line from the begineing of episode 4 I will feast on your intrails and devour you souls I love that line i can't wait till season 2 to hear that line again!

	Seriously, if only having 5 episodes means each episode is longer then I'm ALL for it. I hate how when starting each episode you have to do the same circle of "Go talk to Bosco, go talk to Cybil, go check out your office. In fact, I'd be all for a 3 episode season if it meant that each episode were at least twice as long and had more locations.

	I'm actually pleased with the 5 episode count, because after all, less is more. Kind of sucks about the no machinima shorts, but again, that just gives more focus on the episodes. I'll be looking forward to all the newness!

	hey what do ya thing the initials on the liscence plate stand for, because in the trailer for the first season they were STEVES initials and the numbers probably some date of importance to him like a birth date. i just wonder that, everytime i see their plates

	The license plate was never supposed to "officially" be SRP695, but Steve used that as the license plate one time on the cover of the Surfin the Highway book and a lot of people ended up referencing it that way (including in the intro to the cartoon series). The license plate in the actual episodes (and in the season two trailer) is the correct one.

	I like the background music in Stinky's Diner; it sounds really nice, and I wonder if the guy who composed the music for Season 1 ( I forgot his name) came up with it.

	I think the "real" license plate is the plate from one of Steve Purcell's first cars, though I'm not entirely sure. SRP-695 stands in full for "Steve Robert Purcell June 1995," if I'm not mistaken.
