Tester
Telltale Games is searching for an entry level game tester. The ideal candidate has an eye for detail, strong analytical skills and a background in computers. In addition to regularly testing Telltale’s PC and console products, the tester will also serve as a liaison between customers in need of technical support and the QA and development teams.
- Responsibilities
- Work closely with producers and programmers to test new games throughout the development cycle
- Clearly document and track defects for several ongoing projects
- Work with customers to troubleshoot and resolve technical issues, via email and Telltale’s support forum
- Essential Skills and Experience
- Experience with and knowledge of video games
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- A high level of attention to detail
- A basic understanding of computers and modern video game systems
- Preferred Skills and Experience
- Experience in a testing environment, particularly in the gaming industry
- Basic programming skills to better understand bugs and their causes
- A desire to work in the industry and be a part of the creative environment
- Customer / technical support experience a plus
