Andre is a serial entrepreneur and seasoned senior executive with more than 18 years of experience in the management consulting, mergers and acquisitions and business start up fields.

Andre's experience has led him to work on large M&A transactions such as the $12 bn merger of Banamex with Citigroup and the Citibank's $3.5 bn acquisition of ATT Universal Credit Card. Andre led large and complex company start ups such the launch of the Deutsch Bank Private Bank in France, the start up of the first and largest "transaction bank" in Germany and the launch of the e-business group of Carr Futures. In 2004, Andre started avanceventures (www.avanceventures.com), an Advisory and Mergers and Acquisitions firm for privately held companies with a focus on consumer products and internet technologies.

Prior to avanceventures andre launched, managed and sold a software company for commercial appraisals. Prior to that, Andre was a Vice President at Citigroup International's Strategy and Corporate Development group in New York, where he focused on strategy and M&A in Asia, Latin America and Central Europe. Prior to Citigroup andre was a Senior Principal and a member of the West Coast leadership team at ATKearney in the Financial Institution Group in San Francisco and Munich. Prior to joining AT Kearney Andre was a Management Associates at Citibank Germany where he worked for the CEO on risk management and company wide restructuring projects.

Andre earned an MBA in corporate finance and strategy from the Anderson School at UCLA and a MS in finance from the Business School of Amiens, France, where he graduated 3rd of his class. Andre speaks three languages fluently including English, German and French and is conversational in Farsi and Arabic. Andre lives in Marin County with his wife and three children.
