Joel Dreskin
Brand Marketing
Having worked extensively with online companies since the days when the Internet could only be viewed on 640x480 black and white cathode ray monitors powered by steam engines that filled entire city blocks, Joel is thrilled to be involved with Telltale in pioneering new kinds of digital entertainment experiences.

Joel’s professional background includes Licensing and Merchandising at Paramount Pictures; account management at leading ad agencies; and an extended time in product management and product marketing at the company formerly known as Macromedia. Joel’s time at Macromedia was memorable, in that it included the period when the company acquired a nifty technology then known as FutureSplash, that later became Flash, and Macromedia flirted with an idea called Shockwave for FreeHand that it abandoned fairly quickly.

After Macromedia, Joel joined LucasArts, where he worked with now Telltale CEO Dan Connors for the first time on Rogue Squadron for Nintendo 64. Joel drove marketing programs for numerous best selling titles at LucasArts, including the company’s first games to achieve the top slots on the PlayStation and Xbox sales charts.

Joel is proud to be both a Bruin and a Wolverine, with an undergraduate degree from UCLA and MBA from University of Michigan, Ann Arbor.
